We had previously heard that the version of King Kong featured in
Kong: Skull Island was going to be the biggest ever seen on film, and the first image from the movie below definitely seems to confirm that.
EW just debuted the pic, which also features Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson as two of the intrepid adventurers who make their way to the mythical homeland of the great ape.
Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts promises that this will be a very different take on the story, and that everything will become clear when the first trailer drops. Expect more details very soon, as the cast are due at SDCC next week.
Also starring Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham, and Toby Kebbell, Kong: Skull Island is set to be released on March 10th, 2017.
