Keeley Hawes Joins DOCTOR WHO As Villainous Banker 'Ms. Delphox'

Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi and his companion Clara (Jenna Coleman) will have to face a brand new villain in the fetching form of Line Of Duty's Keeley Hawes. Check out a first official look at the character, as well as a description after the jump.

Steven Moffat describes the character as "a powerful out of this world character with a dark secret. Travelling across space and time the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and his companion, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman), will come face to face with the mysterious Ms Delphox when they arrive on a strange and puzzling planet." Hawes may be well known to gamers as she has provided the voice for Lara Croft from the long-running Tomb Raider series. She is also known for her roles as Zoe Reynolds in Spooks (2002–2004), Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes (2008–2010), and Lady Agnes in the 2010-2012 remake of Upstairs, Downstairs.

In addition, Samuel Andserson (Bedlam) Robert Goodman (Game of Thrones), Jonathan Bailey (Broadchurch) and Pippa Bennett-Warner (Death in Paradise) will guest star in the upcoming series which is currently shooting in Cardiff and will debut on BBC One in late 2014.
