I've heard mixed things and the trailers haven't really sold me on the movie. Hopefully the film is different and you enjoy it.

@Scarilian - I hope so. Its probably the last film I'm seeing in theaters for a while until Rogue One.

Been hearing the word 'masterpiece' thrown around in relation to this film.

Saw it last night. Loved it and it'll probably have a place in my top 10 of the year. Defines the kind of movie to go into knowing as little as possible. I feel like audiences not into it will be because of certain expectations of what an "alien visiting" Earth movie should be. This is more Close Encounters than War of the Worlds.

Very thoughtful and moving.
