Seth Grahame-Smith In Talks To Direct & Write THE FLASH

As Phil Lord and Christopher Miller prepare to take the reigns of the Han Solo Star Wars movie, directing duties on Warner Bros.' The Flash have passed to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith...

It looks like Warner Bros. has finally settled on a director for their big-screen take on DC's Fastest Man Alive, as according to THR Seth Grahame-Smith is in negotiations to make his feature debut with The Flash. The best-selling author will also write the script.

The LEGO Movie duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller already wrote a treatment for the film and were also eyeing it as a possible directorial project, but it seems they've jumped ship to Disney to focus on taking the helm on the Han Solo origin movie.

The Flash currently has a March 3, 2018 release date and will star Ezra Miller in the title role. The character will first debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and then feature more prominently in Justice League Part 1, which will be released in the summer of 2017.
