Sebastian Stan has been all over the big screen as of late. Besides his definitive turn as the Bucky Barnes a.k.a. The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor has also worked with auteur directors Ridley Scott and Steven Soderbergh as part of their more recent endeavors. In addition being a modern teenage heartthrob, fans all over the world have championed Stan to join the only film franchise more universal than the MCU, Star Wars.

Last year, fan art featuring Stan as Luke Skywalker hit the internet by storm. The actor's uncanny resemblance to the original trilogy's protagonist was so indistinguishable that even star Mark Hamill had to join in on the fun. The actor acknowledged their facial similarities and iconic metal arms on Twitter a few months back.

During a panel at Rhode Island Comic Con, Stan was very enthusiastic to jump into the topic following another fan's question. "I just want to say here that anytime anyone would like to call me and ask me about  Luke Skywalker I'd be very happy [to play him.]"

It may be too late to insert the Winter Soldier into The Last Jedi flashbacks, but it isn't too late for a cameo for the Obi-Wan movie. Forget young Han Solo, this is the only original trilogy recast worth seeing in the theater.

I'm that one guy you get annoyed with because he talks about movies too much, but I'm also the one guy you love to talk movies with.
