Throw in a big new Star Wars TV show rumour, remarks from the actor who played Greedo on that whole "Maclunkey" craze, and more, and there's plenty to get excited about here if you're a fan!

So, for your fix of new Star Wars news, all you guys have to do is click the "View List" button!

Sith Troopers Assemble

In this newly released image from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, we get perhaps our best look yet at the Sith Troopers assembled and ready for action. There are conflicting theories about what they'll be getting up to in the Skywalker Saga finale but they're definitely a formidable looking bunch!

Is A Doctor Aphra TV Series In The Works For Disney+?

Aphra

The Mandalorian has been a huge hit for Lucasfilm and we still have both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cassian Andor TV shows to look forward to on Disney+. It's no secret that the studio is working on more than just that, though, and now Star Wars Unity claims that one of those could involve Doctor Aphra.

The character was introduced in the Darth Vader comic book series and has become one of the biggest stars in Marvel's monthly titles so it's no great surprise that this is now being considered.

This is strictly a rumour for now, though, so we'll have to wait and see. Much of her story has been told in the comics too, so perhaps she'll show up as a supporting character rather than as a lead?

The Mandalorian Episode Synopses

Yoda

The third episode of The Mandalorian was downright awesome but things are going to continue getting even more exciting over the coming weeks if these new synopses are anything to go by.

In Chapter 4, "The Mandalorian teams up with an ex-soldier to protect a village from raiders." For those of you wondering, that is indeed Gina Carano's Cara Dune. As for Chapter 5, "The Mandalorian helps a rookie bounty hunter who is in over his head." There's no mention of Baby Yoda but Disney is deliberately being vague with these descriptions to avoid giving too much away.

Here's Something To Make You Feel Old...

I was fifteen years old when Star Wars: The Revenge of the Sith was released (depressingly, some of you reading this may not have even been born in 2005) but for the rest of you, here's something that will definitely make you feel your age. The actor who played baby Luke and Leia in the film is now all grown up and, as you can see from Mark Hamill's Tweet, he's come a long way since then!

Greedo Actor Responds To "Maclunkey" Going Viral

Greedo

When A New Hope was added to Disney+, fans were quick to notice that a weird new piece of dialogue had been added when Greedo attempts to shoot Han Solo: "Maclunkey."  Paul Blake was the actor who donned Greedo's costume in the film and when Empire recently caught up with him to ask for his thoughts on "Maclunkey" going viral, he was definitely surprised.

Larry Ward actually voiced Greedo in the film but Blake never remembers hearing it before now. "No, it certainly wasn't in the dialogue," he confirms. "I mean, Larry did the little bits and pieces later on, none of the voice stuff was done at Elstree. Some of my own words were used, I believe, which were scrambled electronically."

As for what he believes it means, Blake added: "I shall say it was Greedo's last gasp. It's a Rodian thing. Just before you expire, every Rodian says 'Maclunkey'. It's some ancient tradition. I read there's an interpretation that it means, 'ma-dong-key'. 'My donkey', I think, is another reference to the horse waiting outside the Cantina that Greedo was in."

Carl Weathers Teases Greef Carga's Future In The Mandalorian

Graff

At the end of this week's The Mandalorian, the "Mando" went rogue and ended up squaring off with an entire crew of bounty hunters, including Carl Weathers' Greef Carga. So, will he return? "I think there’s definitely a possibility that Greef Carga has something planned for the Mandalorian," Weathers says. "I can’t reveal what it is, but we have not seen the last of him yet."

As for that amazing final battle, he tells Variety: "[It] took quite a while to shoot — as you can see there were so many elements, so many moving parts. It really is an integral part of the story, especially in this episode with so much action, where so many new characters are revealed. There’s so much in this episode, and in general, that’s entertaining for audiences of all ages."

Is Sith Troopers their confirmed name? Because, even though Palpatine returns in some capacity, aren't the Sith gone from the Star Wars universe? Anyway, they look pretty damn cool

Never actually read an Aphra comic, but from what I've seen about the character I can get the potential appeal of a live action take.

Definitely her over Cassian Andor.
