While answering questions following yesterday's epic trailer reveal for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Finn actor John Boyega confirmed to the audience that Captain Phasma did indeed meet her end as she plummeted through the wreckage of Supreme Leader Snoke’s ship.

Because audiences never actually saw Phasma hit the ground, there have been numerous rumors and theories that she may have somehow survived. Well, in the video below, you can watch Boyega deliver the news to all the Star Wars YouTubers making crazy theory videos.

Though Luke's narration in the Episode IX trailer proclaims that, "No one is ever really gone," it seems that's not the case for chrome-clad stormtrooper commander.
