Emotional New Trailer For STAR WARS REBELS Confirms Season 4 Will Be Its Last

Emotional New Trailer For STAR WARS REBELS Confirms Season 4 Will Be Its Last

Following a panel at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando today, a new trailer for Star Wars Rebels has been released which confirms the impending end of the series along with plenty of other surprises!

After just four years, Star Wars Rebels will come to an end and this emotional new trailer highlights Ezra's journey and drops some interesting hints about what's next. We see Yavin IV, U-Wings and Imperial hover tanks from Rogue Rogue: A Star Wars Story and the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn.

During the show's panel, show creator Dave Filoni weighed in on the decision to wrap things up and said it was his decision to end things here in order to finish the story on a high note rather than risk a premature cancellation a la Star Wars: The Clone Wars or stretch things out for the sake of it.

What will replace it? That remains to be seen, but chances are Disney has a new series planned at some point in the near future. Check out the trailer below and stay tuned for Star Wars updates.
