@JamesPunn - I really like him as well, as a matter of fact I would have happily seen him on a number of CBMs instead, but even though I'm an absolute Star Wars zealot, I'm not excited about this movie one bit. I think he could have made a great Captain Marvel movie, seeing as he knows how to tell space and pioneer stories.

@Asturgis - He honestly should've just done The Phantom Menace when Lucas asked him to. We would've gotten a better prequel trilogy since Howard's a guy like Marquand or Kirshner, he would've said [frick] you, no that idea's shit to Lucas.

@Asturgis - There were multiple directors asked, but they all told George it was his baby and he should direct. The problem with that is George Lucas isn't that great of a director and had way too many yes men around him at this point.

@RancidBane - I think that 100mil Conor is getting shows us why he did get in the ring though.

These two could have generated that kind of money no matter where they fought. But I know for a fact Floyd would never have gotten in the octagon. Respect to Connor for taking the risk.
