Star Wars actor and dialect coach Andrew Jack died yesterday at the age of 76 due to the Coronavirus. He reportedly passed away at a hospital near London as a result of complications he developed after contracting COVID-19. Sadly, his wife is currently stuck in quarantine in Australia, so funeral arrangements are understandably up in the air due to the ongoing pandemic.

Serving as a dialect coach on movies like Avengers: Endgame, The Lord of the Rings, and even Matt Reeves' The Batman, he played Major Caluan Ematt in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. He also voiced Molloch in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and trained actors like Hugh Jackman, Karen Gillian, Christian Bale, John Boyega, and Christian Bale over the years.

Now, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams has taken to Twitter to pay his respects to Jack, and even sheds some light on how the dialect coach landed a role in the new Star Wars movies.

Last night, President Donald Trump announced that there could be as many as 100,000 - 240,000 deaths in the United States as a result of COVID-19, so this is something we should all be taking very seriously. For the latest information on the pandemic (and details on how you can protect yourself), you should visit the World Health Organization website.

Prayers for his family and friends.

As for everyone else, please and I mean it, stay home. We can get through this horrible time in life, dealing with the Coronavirus, but only if you stay home.

@kallel - Maybe I'm mis-reading your comment, but are you seriously saying that COVID-19 isn't a real thing?
