Age of Republic, Age of Rebellion, Age of Resistance. It’s cool stuff. Loving this idea.

@TheUnworthyThor - The labels are cool. I just wish the Age of Resistance had more of its own identity. It essentially feels like Age of Rebellion part 2.

@regularmovieguy - Lucasfilm has already stepped in and convinced Warner Chappell to drop their complaint.

@regularmovieguy - Probably still a better Excalibur movie than Arthur:Legend of the Sword.

Off topic

Saw dragon ball broly last night and it was...SUPER! Lots of unexpected hilarity and great action with a surprisingly above average plot for dragon ball. Also all showings were sold out and the only reason I got into it was because they last minute decided to have more showings.

@PlusUltra - I loved how the viewers were so into! The theater was packed and we all had our jaws open when the action was happening. I laughed so hard at 2 scenes that I was crying a bit. I seriously had not expected all the random left turns that movie made haha

@knocturnalzen10 - I was lucky to get tickets because of that extra showing but you for sure need to see it!

All the kids be throwing elbows to get their hands on that Tarkin. In the grocery store all, “MOM! Mom! Grand Moff! I MUST know the orders and commands he issued to make that superior planet-destroying weapon come into being! Please buy this!” Hahah

So this is just coincidental but I was at a Barnes and noble in their sci-fi section looking for the beast arises series when I happened to stumble upon the Star Wars section and saw they had the heir of the Jedi novels and was taken aback that they were on the shelf seeing as Disney basically threw out the books and other sw history. Then I looked at how old they were only to find Disney had rereleased them last year.

Does this mean fans are just so pissed about how they treated sw cannon that they had to bring them back or that only the original trilogy stuff still sells?

@MrNegative - Neither. It’s just means a buck is can be made so it will be. But it’s not like the rereleases are selling better than the new novels. They just know they can sell both.

@TheUnworthyThor - after looking into this more I don’t agree with you. The sales of their new toys and comics based off the trilogy and spinoffs aren’t selling well yet sales on the original trilogy are doing well. Disney also said back in 2013 after purchasing sw they had no intention of keeping the novels cannon and intended essentially phase out that part of sw. My guess is they’re bringing them back, as the novels were rereleased in 2018, because they’re new shit isn’t selling and there is still a desire for the old stuff

KK and the suits appealing to the nostalgia they said they no longer needed now that they have Super Saiyajin Neo Rey. I guess they are so afraid to lose money.

Mark my words, the first trailers will focus on Leia, Han and Luke even though they are all gone. It might be possible that JJ has filmed scenes with Ford and Hamill de-aging them as Marvel did to Hank Pym or Downey Jr.

Everything to avoid the boycott of their last product of their successful TROLLOGY!
