RUMOR: Here's When We'll See The First Footage From STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI

Lucasfilm finally revealed Star Wars Episode VIII's title last month, but if a new report is to be believed, this is when we'll get to see footage from the highly anticipated December 2017 released...

Common sense says that we'll see something from Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando this April, but that may have now been confirmed thanks to Star Wars News. However, our first look at this highly anticipated release may come in the form of another behind-the-scenes sizzle reel rather than a trailer. They also confirm that we won't get getting anything during the Super Bowl.

However, based on past experience and what they've heard from their sources, the site goes on to point out that reel will likely be joined by a teaser trailer, something which would mean it's released just in time for it to be shown alongside Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in May. So, a longer wait than we hoped for, but one which was to be expected based on how The Force Awakens was promoted.

The Last Jedi hasn't suffered from the same sort of plot leaks as its predecessor, and unlike Rogue One, Disney and Lucasfilm don't need to release TV spot after TV spot to make sure moviegoers know what to expect. Are you disappointed that we'll have to wait until April? It sounds like it will be worth it...
