Solo: A Star Wars Story director Ron Howard has taken to social media, assuring fans the upcoming spinoff movie is "right on schedule."

After posting a behind-the-scenes photo from Skywalker Ranch where the crew is "well into the final sound mix," Howard received a negative response from a fan claiming to have a "bad feeling" about the movie due to it not yet being finalized so close to its May 25th release date. Howard assured that Solo: A Star Wars Story is "right on schedule," with the edit locked and John Powell's score officially finished.

Howard also confirmed that we will be getting a second trailer for the movie soon, which was to be expected - though it's still nice to hear it from the director.

With only one trailer released thus far - and it was really more of a teaser highlighting the crew - the arrival of a new, hopefully more revealing trailer will attempt to quell any doubts one may have about Solo: A Star Wars Story.

actually excited for every part of this except for....Han Solo, but as long as he's serviceable the rest of the cast should be able to elevate the movie overall

Going back...Solo was always my preferred film out of SOLO and TLJ. I was anticipating Solo to be a simple Care free, fun cruise around the galaxy buddy movie with Han And Chewie. Try to reinstall some of that original innocence from ANH.

I am so sorry for you Mr. Howard. You have given us such great films. This film might be right on schedule but the outcome is as it has been foreseen as well. Not making good money at the box office and not getting good reviews. This will only be a new addition to the kind of products Mrs. Kennedy wants to give SJW. A new addition to the new Sharknado series but with better visuals.

@fundamentallyOT - if the cheque is in the post he probably doesn’t mind. Can always use the fallback that he tried to polish a turd but ran out of polish because the turd was a huge one.
