SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY Director Ron Howard Shares A New Image Of Donald Glover As Lando Calrissian

With the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story fast approaching, Ron Howard has shared a new image of Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. Hit the jump to check it out.

We’re about a month away from Solo: A Star Wars Story hitting theaters, and the marketing for the movie is well in motion. Just recently fans were treated to a brand-new trailer for the latest Star Wars film, and earlier today a brand-new TV spot featured plenty of new footage for fans to enjoy.

Now, taking part in the action, the film’s director, Ron Howard, has taken to his Instagram to reveal a new photo from the movie. The image, which was taken during a VFX review by Industrial Light & Magic, features Donald Glover (Spider-Man: Homecoming) in character as the smuggler Lando Calrissian.

While the image isn't of the highest quality, it's not difficult to tell that the cockpit Lando is standing in belongs to the iconic Millenium Falcon. Also, it appears as if the iconic ship is taking a journey through hyperspace to an unknown location. Though, whether Lando is still the pilot or owner of the Falcon during the moment we see captured in the image, is up for speculation.
