SPOILERSSSSSSSS

I really liked the movie, not the best SW movie for me, but still...
There are only 2 things that upset me:
1) Luke dies.
2) The revelation behind Rey's parents.

I already had the chance to talk about these things in the past weeks so some of you guys already know how much that would dissapoint me.
Well...you'd need to multiply that! :P

@Doomsday8888 - Rey's parentage was a ballsy move and I actually appreciated it. Luke dying was a bummer, but I did expect it as the movie went on.

@RorMachine -
For Rey, i would've been ok with it, had they not made such a huge deal out of it, you feel me?

But when it comes to Luke...no way, that's just wrong.
They could ALWAYS do that, now they will just have to use him as a ghost, but f*ck that, no Lightsabers duels with him at this point!
Why waste him so soon?
Why not kill him later?
:(

Great film. Good to see the movies expanding upon what can be done with the force. Lifting X wings and Jedi mind tricks are so old fashioned.

I'm just glad we can get this Star Wars time of the year going. Cause the sooner we get it going, the sooner we can get it over with.

I really enjoyed the movie but I think the reviews actually let me down. All the hype from them, and all the talk of these incredible twists, and I spent the whole movie waiting for something that never happened. It all kind of felt like it went nowhere. I was waiting for some big reveal or twist but I have no idea what everyone was talking about. And with this being the middle film... i dunno, I feel like this trilogy has no story, no point. I LOVE all the new characters (except Kylo Ren) but yeah. Just feels like the exact plot of the original trilogy with a paint job, and now Vader is an angsty kid. Like he was in the prequels. I loved the visuals, humour, interactions and fights though. And Snoke was alot more interesting performance-wise in this one, for all the good he does to the plot.

Shame, I thought this movie would have a revelation that gave this trilogy purpose and seperated it from the others, but its just the same stuff except the empire is called the first order and luke is rey. It was really just a big chase film, reminded me of the similarly beautiful but pointless Fury Road. What is the point of the Luke stuff? He starts out with no faith in the jedi because he [frick]ed up, Yoda shows up and says ‘hey dude, quit livin in the past and worrying bout shit that might not go down’ and suddenly he has faith again and is all for the jedi? What happened to his concerns about the hypocrisy and issues with the jedi? Would have been more interesting if he was evil. Or something. Anything. He was just sorta there. His arc had no suprises whatsoever.

@connorblaze - I gotta agree with you on this one. Especially about things you wait for but never happen

@connorblaze - I think that if instead of just disappearing, he should have just collapsed and died, his body actually begins to turn to ash revealing just how drained up using the Force did on his body. It would appear he was dead but actually the twist of all twists would be at the very end, not like with the kids.

Wow I was totally pumped for this movie until this, I'll wait till Netflix. This sounds like they took every exciting plot point and just ended it. No Phasma, No Snoke, No Han, No Luke, no chance I'll care until they make a new trilogy, this has destroyed every other Star Wars movie to date with not making it all connect. I see why Johnson was a one and don't in the SWU. One movie and destroyed the whole franchise. Move on bring us the KOTOR, Chewie is all that's left in this storyline to care about.
