By now, you've probably already decided whether or not you're going to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi in theaters next week, so these reactions probably won't do much for you. But, if you're like me, and not a big fan of the franchise, and you need some extra convincing to go see it with the rest of world, then these post-premiere reactions should more than do the trick.

Almost everyone is in agreement that this is the best entry in the Star Wars franchise in over thirty years, ranking just below A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Rian Johnson's direction seems to attract the most praise as he delivers an exciting and beyond surprising installment in the long-running series.

Out of the cast, Mark Hamill walks away with the title belt for his return as Luke Skywalker, receiving unanimous praise from everyone in attendance. The late Carrie Fisher, in her final film role, delivers an unforgettable performance as well. The Force Awakens cast don't seem to leave as large a mark as the original cast members, but some are saying that both Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver are standouts.
