Disney backtracking on Rian Johnson's bullshit, and they still can only manage to pique interest by bringing back Palpatine.

The problem with a decent trailer is that it gets my hopes up. Then I imagine all kinds of things that end up being way better than the actual movie.

I'm so much more excited for the last season of Game of Thrones than I am for the supposed end to the Skywalker saga, I'm not sure if that's because of Disney's mismanagement of the property or because HBO has produced something truly special with Game of Thrones

It's probably a combination of both

Let me guess: In a ripoff of the Alia storyline from the Dune books, Rey has been retconned into a Skywalker and has a genetic memory of all her ancestors...with Palpatine playing the part of Baron Harkonnen. (Yeah, for those who missed it: Palpatine was retconned into Anakin's father in the pages of the now canon comics...)

Also, betting we see the Super-Def-Mojo Death Star. Oh...and the island is purgatory and we will never know where that polar bear came from or what the numbers mean.

Seriously, at this point it wouldn't surprise me if the entire third act of the film revolves around a great debate over whether droids are sentient. But hey, JJ...surprise me and make an actual Star Wars movie.

All I wanted for Star Wars when I heard they were making a new trilogy was a Jacen and Jaina Solo arc with a Luke and Mara Jade sub plot, and some fun shenanigans between Han, Leia and Admiral Thrawn. So much meat in just those stories for an epic continuation of the classic mythology, layers upon layers just begging to add depth and complexity to the worlds Lucas built without dishonoring his legacy. Instead, we got this crap. Do us all a favor and just put the horse out to pasture. Poor Silver is ready for retirement.

Game of Thrones is back !!! MEH...STAR WARS :TROS did nothing for me but reminded me of the Shite fest that was TLJ. Hell..The Mandalorian looks way better !
