Didn’t Snoke also have another apprentice (I believe it was confirmed by some road to Last Jedi book or something). What if Jannah is that apprentice and is gonna [frick] shit up from the inside

3 similarities with episode 6 so far:

-Film opens with the characters on a desert planet having an adventure
-Lando pilots the Falcón
-Palpatine

I hope they have a ghost scene with the original trio at the end so I can cry harder than ever

I’m not buying that Phasma is dead. Lucas got a lot of guff for how he disposed of Boba Fett, so I doubt Abrams will do even worse by this new trilogy’s badass. She’ll be back, probably the worse for wear, and maybe even no longer a stormtrooper, but she’ll be back.

@NoAssemblyReqd - Captain Phasma could capture Finn and take him to be executed for his crimes as a deserter and member of the Resistance.

Using Finn as "bait", the Emperor lures Rey into a trap. After the Emperor kills Finn in front of Rey, she unleashes all his power.

The Tantive IV was not a unique ship. It's a CR90 Cruiser. Seeing one similar does not automatically make it the Tantive IV. And after the supreme butt [frick]ery the Empire put on it in Rogue One and New Hope, I highly doubt they would go through all the trouble of retrieving and repairing it.

@CorndogBurglar - In fact I believe there were even other CR90's seen in Return of the Jedi during the big space battle that was going on.

It's a Corellian Corvette. It was used for all kinds of things. The Tantive IV just happened to be one.

I don't hate Rose but I do want to know how Fin made across a mile of wide open ground dragging Rose with a line of walkers standing right there. I like to imagine some First order gunner playing "Should I or shouldn't I" in his/her head for 20 min.

@DeathSeal - That's one of the big wtf moments for me. And I even quite like Rose's 'saving what we love' line out of context, but almost everything about the actual scene is BS. I still haven't found a vaguely compelling reason wh Finn and Rose aren't both very much dead.

Does anyone even care how this ends? The last 2 movies were so inconsistent with any sort of over-arcing theme or character that there is absolutely no curiosity left to any of it.

It's evident they had no idea from the start and bringing out Palpatine is just a last ditch effort to make any of it likable.

I hated the character of Rose, but as a fully functional adult human, I understand the difference between an actor and the character they portray. Kelly Marie did a good job with the material she was given, and that’s all you can ask from an actor.
