Following a surprise screening last night, the first reactions to
Terminator: Dark Fate have surfaced, and these are considerably more positive than anyone could have predicted.
There are comparisons to
Star Wars: The Force Awakens and claims that it's the best instalment of the franchise since
T2: Judgment Day (which, let's face it, is faint praise considering how terrible the past three efforts were). However, Linda Hamilton is receiving a lot of praise, while it definitely sounds like a fun ride for fans of the long-running franchise.
Not everyone has nice things to say, of course, but social media reactions like this should always be taken with a pinch of salt as there's clearly a lot of excitement here.
