This new poster for Alien: Covenant will definitely leave you thinking of Ripley as it features one of the iconic Xenomorphs taking aim at Katherine Waterston's female lead. Regardless of whether you loved or hated Prometheus, the lack of them in that 2012 prequel was definitely a major issue for fans.
A brief synopsis for the highly anticipated movie was also revealed last year, and it teases: "Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition."
The cast of Alien: Covenant also includes Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Billy Crudup, Noomi Rapace, and Guy Pearce, and as you can see below, it will be released on May 19th.
