Woody Harrelson Gears Up For Mankind's Last Stand In New Photos From WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES

As part of their Summer Movie Preview, Entertainment Weekly has debuted two intense new photos from 20th Century Fox's War for the Planet of the Apes featuring new looks at Woody Harrelson as The Colonel alongside a human-favoring gorilla, and then another photo with Caesar leading his brothers into battle.
While speaking with the trade, director Matt Reeves teased the arrival of the near-psychotic Colonel “It finally cracks Caesar. It sets him on a revenge mission. The movie goes from being this grand war movie to an almost Josey Wales-like Western.” Reeves expands on their dynamic a bit further by likening it to the one shared by Alec Guinness' British Commander and Sessue Hayakawa's prison camp Colonel in 1957's Bridge on the River Kwai, which certainly suggests some madness awaits us this July.
