When it was originally announced that EA Games' Star Wars Battlefront would have a miniscule single player experience, many fans began to show concern. Things only got worse when EA announced that the game would be receiving an over-priced Season Pass that costs nearly as much currency as the base game, which was criticised at launch for its over all lack of content. But over the last year, EA has been listening to the fans as they expanded the game with the addition of a single player mode, free expansions, more customisation options, and other material, aside from the paid downloadable content. If you have avoided the game in favour of a more complete product that doesn't torture your wallet, then this could be your chance to get into Battlefront.
This November, EA will be giving Star Wars Battlefront: Ultimate Edition a wide release in celebration of the anniversary of its 2015 launch. This edition of the game will contain all of the game's content, including all four of the downloadable expansion packs that make up the Season Pass, the Deluxe Edition weapons, the "Battle of Jakku" expansion, and all of the free updates that have been released. Combined, that's 14 heroes and game modes, with over 30 maps. It should be noted that a digital version of the Ultimate Edition was released a while back, but with a very steep price that only recently went down.

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT is the ultimate Star Wars battle experience, brought to life by the creators of Battlefield. Fight in epic Star Wars battles on iconic planets and rise through the ranks playing as the heroic Rebellion or the evil Galactic Empire.
