STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT To Receive A 'Complete Edition' This Winter

Would you like to play Star Wars Battlefront and all of its downloadable content without having to spend an absurd amount of cash to do so? Well, you're in luck!

When it was originally announced that EA Games'  Star Wars Battlefront would have a miniscule single player experience, many fans began to show concern. Things only got worse when EA announced that the game would be receiving an over-priced Season Pass that costs nearly as much currency as the base game, which was criticised at launch for its over all lack of content. But over the last year, EA has been listening to the fans as they expanded the game with the addition of a single player mode, free expansions, more customisation options, and other material, aside from the paid downloadable content. If you have avoided the game in favour of a more complete product that doesn't torture your wallet, then this could be your chance to get into Battlefront.

This November, EA will be giving Star Wars Battlefront: Ultimate Edition a wide release in celebration of the anniversary of its 2015 launch. This edition of the game will contain all of the game's content, including all four of the downloadable expansion packs that make up the Season Pass, the Deluxe Edition weapons, the "Battle of Jakku" expansion, and all of the free updates that have been released. Combined, that's 14 heroes and game modes, with over 30 maps. It should be noted that a digital version of the Ultimate Edition was released a while back, but with a very steep price that only recently went down.

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT is the ultimate Star Wars battle experience, brought to life by the creators of Battlefield. Fight in epic Star Wars battles on iconic planets and rise through the ranks playing as the heroic Rebellion or the evil Galactic Empire.

So they could've released the full game this year? Well I bought it when it came out so who am I to say otherwise

@DarthGrizzly -
Pretty much. EA has admitted themselves that the only reason it was prematurely released was so that they could capitalise on the Force Awakens hype. And now, they are trying to capitalise on the Rogue One hype with their DLC. They are pretty much double dipping for money.

I'm still waiting for them to make that game available digitally for either current gen consoles or last gen consoles, like they have a lot of the old Star Wars games.

@Darkknight2149 - I don't think they'll ever make a digital release of Battlefront II, the only thing it would do is make this one look bad.

@Darth258 -
To be fair, it is currently available to download for PS Vita. But yeah, the current game is probably what's stopping it from reaching consoles.

@Darkknight2149 - The one for Vita is a PSP version of the game, not the actual PS2/PC etc game. Like Renegade Squadron.

@Darkknight2149 - I kinda played them all.

The portable versions weren't exactly my favourites though.
Waiting for the other Star Wars projects EA is working on. Hoping someone can bring back 1313

@Darth258 -
I remember being really disappointed when Star Wars 1313 went into production hell. Hopefully Disney uses the concepts for 1313 and Star Wars: Underworld in at least some capacity. I like that they introduced the Level 1313 location in The Clone Wars. I would be hyped if they completed and released the original game.
