The Rebellion Has Hope In Epic TV Spot For ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY

We're now just a little over a month away from the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and a brand new TV spot has been released today which is sure to build excitement. Similar to those released for The Force Awakens, there's not a huge amount of never before seen footage, but enough to get us pretty damn psyched for what's to come. The score used here obviouly also helps in a big way.

Whether or not that's a taste of Michael Giacchino's work is hard to say, but this latest preview definitely offers a pretty cool and unique new take on the classic Star Wars theme we're used to.

The cast of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story includes Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, and a number of others, and it's currently set to be released on December 16th, later this year. Let us know your thoughts on this in the usual place.

it'd be cool if we got a anthology movie set during the clone wars. One about captain rex or obi wan would be awesome

This is the thing I hate the most about modern day films. They release 15 trailers and give away half the good parts of the movie. That's why I only watch first trailers. This problem really hurt Man of Steel in my opinion. Basically everything that movie had to offer was in the third trailer. For god's sake, the Green Lantern trailer has a shot of the villain lying dead in it. It makes the movie going experience less enjoyable. The last film that did it right was The Force Awakens. We knew almost nothing about that movie going in. I hope that filmmakers can be more confident in their films' promise and not spoil everything in advance.

I feel like this is too soon.

I'm not yet craving a new Star Wars movie.

Within a few years it might get stale.
