If the past few days were any indication, marketing of Shazam! has just gotten started. After a very exciting weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, expectations are going nowhere but higher for the David F. Sandberg-directed film, one that aims to please audiences of all ages. As the film's first trailer showcased, it is the delivery of the tone and its lighthearted nature that will set the film apart from the crowded blockbuster landscape. To help solidify the movie's atmosphere Warner Bros. has recruited composer Benjamin Wallfisch to write music for the film.

This will be the composer's third time collaborating with director David F. Sandberg. This follows their work on Sandberg's last two horror films, Annabelle: Creation and Lights Out

Wallfisch has found much success over the past few years, gaining critical acclaim for his work on It and Blade Runner 2049. His latest work, which could be heard on The Darkest Minds, will hit theaters in August.
