I think just now the special effects in movies are up to task to create the story & adventures of The Silver Surfer.

The alien worlds,outer space scenery,creating all the energy & motion SS wields would be mind blowing.

NO EARTH CONTACT!...keep Norin off world & tease that after he becomes the Herald of Galactus that the world-eater is headed for Earth.

In order to explain Galactus, you must have the Silver Surfer. Why not do it in his own movie. Very disappointed Fox didn't go with him after FF films. And I would have used the voice of the actor that played him, too. Dumbasses.

The Silver Surfer is one of THE most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. His strength rivals that of Hulk's, Thor's, Hercules', the Thing's, and his ability to consume, manipulate, and control the cosmic energy is one of the most powerful one out there. So, again, HOW is he lame, @Levi?

I honestly don't think a SS movie would work without Thanos...but I'm willing to give Fox a try...the best thing about FF2 was Norrin...but if the rumors are true about Fox thinking about turning Johnny Storm black...I'm out...

What implied that I was hoping that Fox will make another Marvel film outside of F4 and X-Men/Wolverine? Never have I thought or even hoped for that, and I never will. The only thing that I was thinking was how can you say Silver Surfer's a "lame-ass character" when you have no proof of that.

Levitikuz - not true, he's as much a christ figure as superman, far more philosophical (Stan the man wrote him best), yearns for far greater things, advances science, has hope for humanity, is a star crossed lover....Surfer is possibly one of THE GREATEST characters to EVER grace the comics, and Lee, Kirby, and Buscema blessed everyone with their creation and work

I don't what kinda bullshit the lord savior del toro has been feeding some people but Silver surfer is not lame.....he's a [frick]ing herald of galactus he TOOK orders then grew into his own character and even when he was he still was badass maybe some haven't read him up yet in their stash of comics...but he once AS A HERALD WAS SO LAME he was entrusted on his own with the other heralds to stop galactuses top herald or perhaps when the surfer was caught in a war between galactus and mephisto or perhaps when loki manipulated him to fight thor....SO LAME

I'd honestly love to see a true stand-alone Surfer film. Intertwined as he is with the FF and much of the Marvel universe, he doesn't need any of the big cinematic characters to tag team with. There's plenty of story and big concepts to tackle all by himself. Do it like Iron Man 1.

Now.. would anyone like to play "who's your dream director" game?
