That first clip with MJ was really well done. Holland and Zendaya have off-the-charts chemistry.

You know, I take my what I said this morning. In fact I am hyped and might wanna see this on the big screen. That hydro-man clip was really cool

I'm really excited for this. For all the trailers and clips there's a lot we don't know and the footage has only gotten more and more interesting. Looks great!

I really like that awkward conversation. Pretty good actually. I just think that the problem with this films is that they don't give enough of that, because you have three hundred thousand things happening at the same time. It would be cool if this film, like Spider-Man 2, had the opportunity to just delve deep in this character's relationships, so that the punches and fight scenes are more heartfelt. My problem with Homecomming is that you couldn't really feel how terribly heavy the burden of being a hero is on Peter Parker, even though some of that was shown, it wasn't as terrible as it could've been. I hope Peter just gets punched by life in all kinds of ways in this film.

@Webheaded225 - yeah but that would require actually understanding how spiderman works, and they seem much more interested in making him the next iron man.

@Origame - he's nothing like Iron Man in any of his MCU appearances so far. But sure, whatever floats your boat troll.

Origame - 6/20/2019, 2:25 PM
@BigPhilbowski - so the fact he relies more on a stark suit than his actual powers isnt the case? Or how about money never being an issue for him? He may not have the same personality as tony but its clear they're more focused on making these movies iron man sequels than spiderman movies.

@Origame - you're really stretching aren't you. Yes he uses a tech suit but that's where any similarities end. He also uses his powers a lot more than he relies on the suit. Anyway, he's always used tech in the comics. And what do you mean by money isn't an issue for him? There's nothing that shows that in the movies and there's no situation where he needs money. By your logic Black Panther is also just another iron man as he also uses tech in his suit and is rich.

@BigPhilbowski - 1) so you admit that he shares the gimmick for iron man that separates his superhero adventures from any other? Ok.

2) no he doesnt. At least not in homecoming or infinity war/endgame. Outside of civil war and the end of homecoming he never had a problem that wasnt solved by his suit working for him.

3) key word HIS tech. Where is he using his own tech? This is stark tech. Sure peter invented the web shooters but these are clearly fancy stark made models that are shown to be better in every way.

4) dude you literally just answered your own question there. Civil war set up peter as being part of a struggling household, to the point where peter has to dumpster dive for a computer. Yet in homecoming he can lose 5 bookbags while aunt may just keeps buying them. He can get a nice suit for the dance. Hes enrolled in a school that clearly isnt public and can go on trips to dc and london without worries. And this is peter parker. Of course there should be issues with money involved.

5) well black panther actually has other elements going for him. Hes a king first. He actually uses his powers outside of just his tech. Mcu peter has none of that. While they claim they're meant to focus on high school drama, peter spends most of the movie literally trying to live up to iron man.

@Origame - your points aren't even worth adressing. Your strecthing every little thing to prove your point. Tthe fact you actually beleive he doesn't use his super strength or agility in Homecoming proves you're just here to troll. Don't you have a DC thread to run along to?
Origame
Origame - 6/21/2019, 6:27 AM
@BigPhilbowski - thank you for not actually reading my comment and just placing me as a troll. If you actually READ my comment youd know i never said he doesnt use his powers. What i said is that he uses tech MORE than his powers. And ill throw that last part in, dont you have a dc thread to blindly troll on dc fans while making marvel look perfect?

@Origame - nah you see I don't go on posts looking to diss films purely because I like ones from another company. Come back when you hsve some legitimate complaints about the movie.

@BigPhilbowski - dude ive praised guardians and black panther on this site. Ive dissed suicide squad and bvs. But please, keep telling yourself im a dc fanboy just because i have problems with homecoming you're too blind to see.

I already like Zendaya's MJ more than Kristen Dunst's MJ. She's quirky and Zendaya (at least from what I've seen) is doing a great job at this role.

@KWilly

Honestly I think most people would be on board if it wasn’t for the tag at the end of Homecoming (“friends call me MJ” bit).

She was a fun character and her and Tom have awesome chemistry. She just doesn’t resemble MJ. I’m sure she’ll have a bigger role in Far From Home so I’m looking forward to that.

@knocturnalzen10 - apparently the toys call him hydro man. Apparently the way they're handling things is that the elementals are the mcu versions of molten man and hydro man but that they're just monsters (or illusions) and not the actual characters.
