Although the MCU's take on Peter Parker does have a "Spider-Sense," the ability has never really been highlighted in previous films. However, it looks like that will change in Spider-Man: Far From Home...

Possibly because so much emphasis was placed on the Wall-Crawler's Spider-Sense in Sam Raimi and Marc Webb's previous movies, the recent MCU reboot downplayed the ability somewhat - although Tom Holland's take on Peter Parker does seem to be aware of imminent danger.

Some fans are a little disappointed that this major aspect of the character has been glossed over, but it sounds like Far From Home is going to put more of a spotlight on this particular superpower. It has been given a rather silly new name, however.

While speaking to ComicBook.com, the cast of the movie (no individual is specified) reportedly revealed that Spidey's early warning system will be referred to as the "Peter Tingle." Apparently, this wasn't a joke.

Of course, this is most likely a knowing wink to Spidey fans and Parker will almost certainly rename his "tingle" at some point, but the reactions to this reveal should still be very interesting!

"Peter Tingle" sounds hilarious lol. "Spider Sense" sounds silly too, we're just so used to hearing/reading it for so long.

Peter Tingle lmaooo.

Rather they never just gave it a name though. I can't ever imagine Tom Holland saying "My Spider Senses are tingling!"

Let it just be a thing that happens. But Peter Tingle is funny as hell.

@Reeds2Much - I wish Peter had a confident sense of humor in the MCU

Is it really in the film or is is something they joked about on set? The snap is officially called The Decimation but I don't think it's been said on film that I can think of.

Anyways, Peter told Stark about his senses in Civil War and I think he tells Ned about it too in Homecoming when he's telling him about the spider that bit him(I think).
