@BlackBeltJones - Holy crap I didn't notice that until now.

@DeadWade213 - apparently there’s a few clues throughout the film like this that hint Fury not being Fury.

@BlackBeltJones - Hill calls him Nick in the beginning and it really stood out to me

@BlackBeltJones - Also, when Peter mentions Captain Marvel, he says “Do not invoke her name”. Not the type of thing Fury would say, but very much Talos.

Everyone wants Kraven. Coogler wanted him for BP now they want him for Spidey 3.

You’re a hot item Sergei

@PeterCipher - which is perfect to me. He was gonna be a tease in the early BP drafts. Him before he was Kraven. Just a tracker and hunter for hire.

Apparently, according to a reddit user that’s been pretty reliable with MCU stuff, there was going to be a flashback sequence of Klaue invading Wakanda. Kraven was a member of his team that everyone feared, even Klaue and the sequence would highlight Kraven’s skills.

@PeterCipher @blackbeltjones- that sounds like a great concept idea and would be really well connected . i wonder how they would apply the serum he takes then .
GhostDog
GhostDog - 7/9/2019, 12:12 PM
@knocturnalzen10 - I would lean into the comics stuff and have the serum be what it is: something concocted by a witch doctor.

Maybe even have the witch doctor be Wakandan or from an neighboring country.

@BlackBeltJones - agreed, i think marvel will be more grounded with science but i feel it would be more compelling with that vodoo like element . it has to be explainable on how he's able to fight lions with his bear hands

@BlackBeltJones - I like this idea, if he invaded Wakanda with Klaue, maybe he knew of the Heart Shaped Herb and took some with him. Would be awesome to have Klaue back in a flashback too

All signs point to Kraven!! and I couldnt be more happy if they decide to go that route!

I am not against Kraven being the next villain if the situation with Peter's exposed identity doesn't cool down anytime soon. Or if it does but he just doesn't buy it and continues to "hunt" him down.

They should take some inspiration from this maybe, I love the quips he uses here too.

I also think it would be fun and challenging to see Spider-Man face against The Spot now that he has mastered his spider-sense.

After that mid-credits scene, someone will be *hunting* Peter.

My dream Spider Man film has three acts:

Act 1: Curt Conners is introduced, the act ends with him becoming the lizard.

Act 2: Kraven hears about the Lizard of New York, and he makes a public address that he will fly to New York and track the lizard for his next big hunt. Spider Man knows the Lizard is really Dr. Conners, and he does what he can to protect him from Kraven while coming up with a cure. This act ends with the Lizard reverting to Dr. Conners and Kraven being publicly humiliated by Spider Man.

Act 3: Kraven's last hunt.

I had a similar sort of plot in mind.

• Kraven heads to New York to capture Spider-man, who is public enemy number 1.
• Connors becomes the Lizard
• Spider-man has to stop Lizard's rampage while protecting Lizard from Kraven and trying to avoid Kraven's attempts to capture him
• Final act of the film would have Kraven almost be killed by Lizard, only for Spider-man to save him
• Kraven, despite his actions, is honorable and has a life debt to Spider-man which would come into play when he becomes a member of the Sinister Six

Though such a film would only work if it was part of a series rather than a series finale. I dont think Kraven works as a final boss for MCU's Spider-man as they all seem connected to Tony Stark and have a personal relationship with Peter...

MCU's Spider-man would be most suited to face off against Justin Hammer who would become Titanium Man OR Norman Osborn if he were to become Iron Patriot. Some scenario where he is effectively fighting against a villain who mirrors Tony Stark in some form.

I want either Scorpion or Kraven the hunter for the sequel, maybe both, hired by Jameson like in the comics.

The Spot is awesome.

Also, I know we already did Electro, and I’m not sure I want to see him again, but if we do see him again, this is a cool design:

Off-Topic: Interesting new article from DailyMail about how Kumail has been working out for his next role, which is said to be set to play "an alien-fighting soldier".

I'm definitely thinking he is playing Makkari

So, has anyone here ever worked out with those electrode pads? I know some of you lift. I'm curious what the firsthand experience is like actually using them.

If a third MCU Spider-Man movie does happen, it feels like they need to make a move on Sinister Six, because this may be the last chance they get. That means:

(You know he ain't dead.)

(After Spider-Verse, Prowler has some name recognition, and he's suited to a late-second-act heel face turn.)

Beyond that, I'd love to see a Rhino (my choice is Rory McCann)...

...orchestrated by a cheeky Norman Osborn as Green Goblin (Giancarlo Esposito)

But if I had the ability to monkey-paw-wish even more MCU Spidey movies, then my real goal would be a Clone Saga movie with the Jackal (Lena Headey).

And... [frick], I do love the Spot, Big Wheel, the Trapster, the Beetle, and a hell of a lot of other lesser Spider-Man villains, and I would love for the movies to continue with the guest-star team-ups (having Captain Marvel fit into a Spidey story a little difficult to wrangle, but the chemistry potential makes it worth trying). But those are my priorities: Clone Saga and Sinister Six.
