It remains to be seen just how many Easter Eggs we'll get in Spider-Man: Homecoming that drop some hints about the wider Spider-Man Universe, but a new app for the reboot may tease the eventual arrival of Dr. Miles Warren, a.k.a. The Jackal. Fans are able to use that to read Peter Parker's text messages and one exchange sees Ned Leeds mention a teacher that he refers to as "Ms. Warren."
In the comic books, Peter had a high school teacher calledMr. Warren (very much a background player in the hero's adventures during the Stan Lee/Steve Ditko era) and he was later revealed to be the brother of Miles. As a result, it's entirely possible this Ms. Warren shares the same familial connection.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will see Orange is the New Black's Selenis Leyva take on the role, but it remains to be seen whether or not we'll get a mention of her brother. An adaptation of The Clone Saga in the sequel would be a lot of fun, especially if it means we see characters like Ben Reilly and Kaine.
Would you guys like to see the famously convoluted tale adapted for the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
