Michael Keaton Discusses The Vulture’s Suit In New SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Featurette

Adrian Toomes would be nothing without his scavenging suit, and now thanks to actor Michael Keaton, you have a chance to learn more about the origin and design of The Vulture’s costume in a new featurette…

Spider-Man: Homecoming is a major success, both critically and financially. One of the undeniable achievements of Jon Watt’s movie was turning the forgotten comic-book bad guy into a real threat to Peter Parker. Seeing how one of the most ridiculous Spidey villains was transformed on the movie screen into one of the best antagonists we’ve had in a long time had to be a big surprise to everyone.

It’s said that success has many fathers, but in this particular case almost all credit should go to the actor and the genre veteran, Michael Keaton. In the newest featurette attached to the movie’s upcoming blu-ray release, the actor and producers explain how the Vulture’s tech-heavy suit was brought to life. You can check out the video below:

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
