Could've been a nice easter egg still included. But no complaints. I'm one of few that didn't despise the MCU Iron Spider suit.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - not only did I not despiseni. I LOVED it
That metallic sheen
The glowing eyes
The extra legs (which at first i wasn't a fan of)

@SpideyPuffsMJ - I didn't realize that there were that many people who strongly dislike the MCU version. I can understand some disappointment about not seeing the comic one on screen, but I like that we've got another cool Spider-man costume to add to the list of classics.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - I think a lot of people were fine with it once we saw it in context

I'd love to see one more version that's a little closer to the comic design, cause lets be honest, that and the black spidey suit are both fantastic alternate suits... but if the infinity war one was as close as we get, I'll be happy.

Four years ago I never imagined we'd see any version of the iron spider, or even have the possibility of the actual Iron Patriot appearing - so I'm not complaining.

I didn't like the MCU Iron Spider suit when it was first revealed. I've come around though.

That scene in Ebony Maw's spaceship where he uses the legs is pretty cool. Same with the scene where he's collecting all the K.O.'d Guardians on Titan.

@L0RDbuckethead - The legs were definitely cool, but the overall design was messy.

@Kevwebsz - He tried to help save the entire universe from the mad titan.

I think that gives him the right to a suit.

@NOVAtheSUPA - It's genius how mixing up the panels forces you to 'follow' Peter's movement.

Looks good in concept art. I am still satisfied with the one from IW though.

They should have used this in Homecoming as the suit he rejects when turning down the Avengers.

@NOVAtheSUPA - What he means is: he rejects THIS design of teh suit, and then in Infinity war he gets the one he ended up getting in Infinity War, I think

I kind of wish they went with something closer to the comics. I thought the Iron Spider suit was pretty ugly, but thankfully will only be around for 1 move (or two if he wears it in Avengers 4).

I'm still nonplussed about all the nanite business that Stark-tech does nowadays.

I know he's had all kinds of squishy liquid metal nonsense in the comics for practically forever, so it's not about fidelity. But there is still something inherently cool about clunking plates of armor and suit-up sequences and imagining the engineering of the whole thing...

But there's no going back, is there?

@Spock0Clock - hes gonna actually use that shit to bring people back ahahahah

@Spock0Clock - Unless we get his mjonir armor...no.

I mean nanomachines are one of the most powerful weapons in any universe. The potential is so....delightfully delicious.

I don't mind the actual design of the Infinity War suit. It's the fact that it looked like a video game is what made it crappy to me. I still would have preferred the real Iron Spider suit though. There's still a chance he'll use it in Avengers 4 but I doubt it.

I am beginning to think A4 will be a soft reboot of sorts... they will not be able to restore the universe to its full prior self and so there will be subtle differences. What is interesting is the farm that Thanos ends on would have to be based on 1/2 the people disappearing some time ago in the past because his planet is already decimated. So will we see an alternate earth where 1/2 the population was never born? That would mean in the case of older people that the snap would have affected people born back 80 yrs or so to the beginning of their life span.
So to explain, here is my take on it. 1/2 the people didn't simply disappear... they were never born. How else could his farm exist? Its not like the planet would instantly rebuild itself. ... and if they were never born, its likely people would never even have memories of them. Why? If you had a child and then instantly lost them, you would try to have another and therefore upset the intent of the snap. But on the other hand if you never had the child, you may not have the urge to replace them or have one in the first place if the original was an oops (to crudely put it). All I know is that the writers say no one is expecting what is coming... and my theory falls more in line with that than what i have seen written by others. A soft reboot, due to people never even being born.

This time the movie costume outdid the comics IMHO. He looks like an armored Spider-Man. There’s enough flack, rightfully so about Peter being Tony’s little protege. To have him in more-like Iron Man colors instead of his usual red and blue would have just reinforced what a lot of fans were upset with.
