While it's a pretty cool easter egg in the movie, the moment in the comic is just insanely more powerful. I remember reading those pages and shaking in adrenaline rush.

@RealSpiderMan - Am sick and tired of the "we miss uncle Ben" cult. The moment was, stop nitpicking.

@JustALurker - you don't even read the comics, do you? This moment in the comic is a lot more than just about uncle Ben

@RealSpiderMan - you read the comics? You clearly haven't read the manga. Smh.

What a shame they ruined the moment with Iron-Man's voiceover.

@Kiwiavenger - I thought it was a fun nod to the "floating heads of judgement" that are at this point a big Spider-Man cliche.

I enjoyed the third act a lot due to the fact it felt like Peter was using his resourcefulness and his powers alone. That's something I never understood about the whole "reliance on suit" arc. Peter basically has the powers of a god but for some reason you feel like he needs the suit? I don't even feel like the suit even improved him that much.

Also, why does the MCU feel that Peter's own life or section the universe can't produce its own drama and villains? Why does his villains have to be Tony Stark left overs? Its like because they wanted to tell audiences that this spider-man is in the MCU that they made him a by product of the MCU instead of it feeling like Peter has his own world like Captain America, Thor, GOTG.

Just my thoughts.

@Highflyer
I certainly HOPE that that IS the reason why they did all that, because if they are going to pull something similar with the X-Men and F4 then they can go f*ck themselves right now! >:(

@Highflyer - Captain America’s Story has largely been about SHIELD and the Avengers. Thor’s last movie was a good chunk of “Planet Hulk”. Multiple Guardians characters revolves around Thanos, even though he wasn’t their villain to defeat.

That’s the point of the MCU... the connectivity. When Spider-man gets yanked back to Sony we will once again get the isolated stuff we got for the 5 Spider-man film prior to these last 2.

@Chewtoy - I would argue that Cap's story wasn't about Avengers (apart from civil war really) Shield being the organisation he worked for felt organic for me. Apart from the gladiator scene, was there anything else from planet hulk?

Some of the members having some sort of relation to Thanos isn't the same as a hero's VILLAIN having a vendetta or whose villainous origin stems from a different hero.

You can achieve connectivity like the comics without doing what the MCU did with spidey imo.

@Highflyer - I didn't like that whole suit thing either. Spider-Man not Blue Beetle, that lethal mode was too reminiscent of the scarab.

@breakUbatman - bruh GREAT comparison! I never thought of it like that but it makes a lot of sense.

Love Homecoming. Far From Home feels like such a let down after my rewatch.

I’ve always loved that scene... from the comics and the movie. I liked that they even referenced the shape of the mass pinning him down with the girder over his right shoulder (you can see it in the clip TheDoctor1225 posted)

I also got a kick out of when Batman Begins did a homage to that moment.

Finished 'Spider-Man PS4'two weeks ago, the homage was great in that too. That game is pretty much what I'd want to see in the ideal Spider-Man movie.
