SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Star Tom Holland Reveals An Astonishing Secret About One Of The Movie's Posters

Spider-Man: Homecoming passed $700 million over the weekend and now star Tom Holland has revealed a very surprising new piece of information about the story behind one of the movie's first teaser posters.

As poster campaigns go, Spider-Man: Homecoming had a good one. While they didn't quite manage to top what Warner Bros. came up with for Wonder Woman, they were all still pretty inventive and the first one in particular left fans talking. In case you can't remember (and haven't scrolled all the way down yet), that featured Spider-Man chilling out with the NYC skyline and Avengers Tower behind him.

Now, Tom Holland has revealed a very unexpected piece of information about the teaser as it turns out that it was dreamed up by Marvel after they were sent a photograph of him actually asleep on set!

"Interesting story about that poster is that is actually me asleep," the British actor revealed in a recent interview. "That’s not part of the movie, that’s me in-between takes asleep. We were shooting this scene and I was just really tired that day, and I was just asleep on the floor, and the photographer took a picture. So when they made that the poster, I was like ‘What the hell, guys!’"

You have to give them props for inventiveness but it would be pretty cool to see that original image and how it was manipulated for the poster. Either way, this probably shows why you shouldn't sleep on the job as you never know who could be watching or what will come of it. Did his Spider-Sense not tingle?
