Really wondering how much Homecoming will have earned at the end of its run... 800 million $?

I was waiting for a War thread, didn't expect this one.
I mean...already? Damn.

Anyway, sooo I saw War of the Planet of the Apes.
I know this is just a movie. I know these are just...fictional characters...
But there's sooooo much we could learn from them. For real.
I LOVED this movie, very very very emotional. A real tearjerker.

There are certain themes that really touched my heart.
Like...COMPASSION, Matt really touched this topics very carefully with delicacy, and he did a wonderful job.
Seeing the Apes so united? Legit made me envious.
If we could have something like this in the real world, there's NOTHING that we could not achieve.

Caesar was always my favorite Ape, but hot damn, what a helluva character guys...

His selflessness was truly admirable, but the most important thing, the one that really got me...
Was his willpower.
That f*cker will do anything, sacrifice every fiber oh his damn body in order to save his family and all the apes but he
WILL.
NOT.
BREAK.

And the OST, man...
I didn't even know that GIACCHINO was the one composing the soundtrack for this movie!!!
He did it, he f*cking did it, he easily delivered his best work, nuff said.
The soundtrack plays a huge, frickin HUGE part in this movie.
There're so many tracks to choose from but these are my favorites (also don't read the YB comments cause there are SPOILERS):

Every single time this played...

Especially for the things that little girl did...
And this one, especially near the end at 3:34

When Caesar and the big bad villain come face to face for the FIRST time, right after that f*cker did something really really...UGH!

And that ending...goddammit i WAS NOT READY.
Seeing Caesar soooo happy after all that struggle...

Thank you...for everything.
I don't know what they will do in the sequel, but it'll be VERY hard to top this movie.

Easily and hands down THE BEST MOVIE OF SUMMER 2017!!!
I know there're still many, but eh...i don't see anything topping this one.
Not just the movie, but even the soundtrack.
There's Dunkirk, but i don't think even Zimmer could match what Giacchino did here. I know what i'm saying, and i'm being honest here.
We need more of this.
This type of movies.

Guess I never realized how beloved this was by the general populous. I've always felt like I was more or less in the minority for truly loving this franchise.

I feel like I'll be the wet blanket on Apes. I appreciate a lot of the themes they were going for, but it was kind of boring in places. And the ending was a complete Deus Ex Machina.

Dawn was much better in my opinion.

@ShellHead - SPOILERS

By the ending, are you referring to the avalanche? I thought that was actually super clever, as an explosion of that size on a snowy mountain would absolutely cause that.
