For the (inevitable) next trilogy I hope they bring in someone new. Both in the directing and in the writing department. I liked the direction of Loki, and I think it could fit Spider-Man. So sure, why not

@bkmeijer - I wish we had more of the D.B. Cooper scene. That was good.

@SensitivityII - I think that whole scene (including the editing) was fun. Hope we get more of that

Kudos to Josh for not just posting photos of women with big tits in bikinis for his fan casts.

@SensitivityII - “While we're not anticipating (or hoping) for an overly sexualised version of Felicia Hardy, the character's seductive nature has played into many of her best stories. That's something Daddario definitely exudes, and given what a talent she is, the actress is worthy of a place on this list.“ This is so damn funny to me. Wilding trying to get away with not overtly sexualising an actress for a part but still doing it anyway.

@DarkDetective - I’m not sensitive about it. He knows his way too public horniness gets clicks. I don’t mind. I’m just giving kudos that he’s not doing that this time.

She's cool and all, but if the director of Spider-man 4 is not Sam Raimi...

@GwenLantern - I mean, what villains are left at this point that Sony doesn't want to make a solo film out of? Jackal?

@soberchimera - Yeah, they are becoming detrimental to the main franchise at this point. Kraven would have been a perfect villain for Spidey 3, but now... well unless he's part of a multiversal Sinister Six, I guess he's off the table now.

Well, let's see how LOKI does, and then we'll talk about it. So far so good, so it's a promising horizon...

I don't know if they have said it before but how much creative control does Marvel have over Spiderman movies in the MCU? Is it 100% or does Sony have a good amount of power in that regard too?

@ROFERG - https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/spider-man-homecoming-sony-marvel-control/ ,"But according to Feige, the two studios created a good partnership - one that ultimately gave Marvel Studios a large amount of creative control on Homecoming. During a recent interview with THR, Feige explained how the overall creative negotiation of the film came about.

"It really came down to me telling Amy [Pascal] in her office that I think the best thing for this character is: Sony has the rights, that's not changing." Feige revealed. "Have Sony pay for the movie, distribute the movie, market the movie. Just let us make the movie and incorporate him into our universe."

Would certainly be more unique than Watts' paint-by-the-numbers style. Don't get me wrong, I do really love those movies, but, like most MCU fare, the style is very generic. Thankfully, the D+ shows and Eternals seem to be shaking that up.

I'm dreading Watts working on the F4 though.
