We Got This Covered, tie-in merchandising has revealed that Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen and Venom will be featured in Disney XD's upcoming new Spider-Man cartoon.
The new show has been confirmed to follow Peter Parker, but it looks as if Miles and a spider-powered Gwen Stacy will play prominent roles. Venom's role in the show is even more of a mystery. Will he be a villain or a reluctant anti-hero?
Kevin Shinick (Robot Chicken) and Philip Pignotti (Avengers Assemble) are serving as executive producers on the show.
With Miles Morales featuring prominently in Marvel's comic line, and Sony's animated featuring focusing on the character, how long will it be before the character turns up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
