Am I like the rest that expects little from this movie hoping it’ll be dope? I don’t think it’ll do that though.

Just remembered how little clarity we’ve been given on this whole thing.

Other headlines i've read about this keep saying this "expanding universe" was a direct reference to spidey spearheading it. i personally disagree and am just going to assume sony plans to continue to wing these characters' stories in lieu of the MCU spidey.

If it's an expanding universe I hope maximum Entropy is reached very soon and it quickly dissipates. Or maybe I'm proven wrong and it won't turn out to be super meh.

Morbius is my favorite underrated Spidey villain. I'm still interested.

Make it more like this:

And less like this.

“It might be an exaggeration to say that there's a lot of excitement surrounding Morbius, but it's hard not to be intrigued by Sony Pictures' next Marvel Comics movie.”

Everything known to humanity takes place in an expanding universe.

I just don't see how the Sony mess is going to fit into the MCU at all. I agree there is something very peculiar going on. But I'm still skeptical and I'm just not buying it. I don't see Feige agreeing to share his created universe with another studio. There's a legacy that goes with this. To risk a separate entity muddying that up...it's difficult to believe.

Now, I have thought about one concept that would lend plausibility to the scenario. With Marvel Studios taking on X-Men and Fantastic Four--and possibly rebooting characters from the shows--this may be an opportunity to have another studio making Spidey films within the MCU so they can all be produced at a reasonable frequency instead of waiting 4-5 years for sequels. In other words, Marvel Studios may just not have the bandwidth to do ALL of these franchises at once and letting Sony handle this corner of the universe may be the solution. It's the only way I can reason with this.

Lol makes sense, given the leaks, and Vulture appearing at the end of the trailer. Nonetheless I’m not interested in this, or any of SONY™️ SUMC movies at all.
