@micvalpro - Exactly. The dude in the trailer has a gut and love handles. And Cox is freaking shredded. How can it be the same guy!

@micvalpro - "I can promise you those are not my forearms."

I totally believe him. Actors have a lot of stand-in in Hollywood, especially in the shots where we don't see their face clearly.

@Amuro - are you dumb? They got a guy to stand in for cox in that scene why?

@Marveladdict - I was half-joking. Of course, that's his character, though it's true that they often use stand-in when they don't need to show the actor's face clearly so the actor can shoot another scene with another team. Nothing dumb about that.

I always thought that was a detectives forearms. Parker looks like he’s being interrogated.

@Mugens - to be fair at the start of the scene, the table is clear as if the interrogation has just begun. Later when we see “the arms” there’s a lot more stuff on the table, as if there’s been a lot of back and forth which would mean a lawyer would have to be in the room by then at least. I do agree though that the arms guy is the same dude in the white shirt who walks in earlier.

I have seen too many 10+ minute long, clickbaity YouTube videos dedicated to a brief shot of hairy arms in a movie trailer.

Would be disappointed if he didn't. The movie's premise is the perfect excuse for him to be in this one.

Look, I think he's in it in some capacity but that was very clearly not him. The dude looked nothing like him and the context of the character made no sense. He walks in, doesn't look a thing like Charlie, and slams down papers with what looks like a detective lol.

Also, if Marvel is going to tease Charlie being back and Daredevil....they're going to REALLY tease it. Not some random hairy forearm lmao.

I do not think that is him in that shot of the trailer but perhaps he later enters that same scene. The guy walking into the interrogation room with Peter was not carrying a cane so it can't be Charlie Cox plus the guy in this shot looks chubbier than Charlie Cox.

If Marvel and Sony decide to do another Spider-Man movie together after this one, they should make it a Spidey and DD team-up. That would be a dream come true for me and many other fans.

While I don’t think it’s him what actors deny really means very little at this point and especially in regards to this movie.
LSHF
LSHF - 9/1/2021, 10:35 AM
@Ha1frican - Agreed on both counts. Actors, backed in a corner, can and have lied to help keep a secret from people that is none of their business. I don't blame them. If it isn't officially announced, then F those reporters for asking actors these questions that put the actors on the spot.

It's obvious that the guy in the trailer is not him. It's just that people love to invent theories out of absolutely nowhere. Even saying Doctor Strange is nor really him and bringing back the stupid theory about Mephisto.

I'll be laughing about all these theorists when watching the movie as I did when watching every single Marvel movie/tv show. 99% of the time they are wrong.
