Enlisting the VFX Teams Who Worked On SPIDER-MAN And THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN can mean only one thing...Invasion.

After ALL this evidence, it blows my mind that some people are refusing to believe that this is a Spider-Verse movie

@DaHyro - is it asking too much to hope for a live action Nicolas Cage as the Spiderman Noir??? I probably slaughtered his name… LOL

all you gotta do is bring back that Danny Elfman score.

Back when super hero's simply using their powers was magestic and epic.

@Chaos200 - Yes! The score in the OG Spider-Man movies is amazing. It might be my favorite in any superhero movie ever.

This is really exciting! I actually think SOME of the effects in the og trilogy and the amazing Spider-Man movies are better than what we see in the new ones.

@DenimChicken - really? You’ve watched them recently?
DenimChicken
DenimChicken - 5/20/2021, 1:02 PM
@MyCoolYoung - Maybe it’s been a while. 🤷‍♂️ haha. I watched Spider-Man 2 earlier this year. I know the first one had some pretty wonky stuff but in general a lot of the FX feel more grounded to me in the first ones then in the mcu. I think there is some stellar stuff in the new ones too!

@MyCoolYoung - the TASM films' visuals were terrific. Raimi trilogy...treading new ground, inconsistently cool VFX, sometimes a bit dated, fer sure.
MyCoolYoung
MyCoolYoung - 5/20/2021, 7:21 PM
@Lem1 - and I don’t blame them at all for having dated visuals. It’s not fair to judge them in hindsight because at the time it was great
MyCoolYoung
MyCoolYoung - 5/20/2021, 7:53 PM
@DenimChicken - I’ll have to watch Spider-Man 1 about a year ago and couldn’t believe how dated some of the cgi looked because at the time you don’t notice those things but I don’t blame the movies for that. I rarely judge the movies based on cg and definitely not a movie from almost 20 years ago

@NathanielX - lol thats how I expect most of it to look
DenimChicken
DenimChicken - 5/20/2021, 8:08 PM
@MyCoolYoung - Thats true. I watched the first one when I was 12 so it felt like I was watching the real Spider-Man swinging through New York. I’m sure some of what I remember is nostalgia. Crazy to think we are coming up on 20 years!
MyCoolYoung
MyCoolYoung - 5/20/2021, 8:20 PM
@DenimChicken - nuts. I saw the first one in theaters when I was about 13-14 as well. I just remember my younger brother being scared of the green goblin we almost had to leave the theater lol

They should’ve already been doing this. As bad as ASM 2 was the CGI was top knotch.

It all seem very exciting but I'm not thrilled with this new Spider-man film. I understand the whole multi-verse but we have yet to see Tom Holland's web head within the city as whole since Homecoming. Anyway, I'm cautiously optimistic.

I think the acrobatics still looked the best and most natural in Raimi's Spider-Man. He looks too rubbery in these new films.

Nightwing1015
Nightwing1015 - 5/20/2021, 1:07 PM
@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - Disagree. The final swing in FFH had some weight to it. In Spider-Man 1 it kinda just looked like video game physics - like he was flying.

The original films are better in many respects but the swinging ain't one of them. By the time Spider-Man 2 and 3 came along the swinging got so much better though.
