SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME's Rumored Runtime Points To It Being Spidey's Longest Big Screen Adventure

The wait for a new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer continues, and with that December 17 release date fast approaching, it surely can't be too far away now. In the meantime, rumours about the movie continue to find their way online, with the latest coming from Brazilian ticketing website Ingresso.

According to a listing on that website, the threequel is going to be 2 hours and 39 minutes long.

That mammoth runtime means it clocks in at 26 minutes longer than Spider-Man: Homecoming and a whole half hour longer than Spider-Man: Far From Home. Prior to that, the longest instalment of the franchise was The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014 at a sizeable 144 minutes.

If the rumours are true, Spider-Man: No Way Home will feature appearances from the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Variants of Peter Parker. Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, and Electro are among the movie's confirmed villains, though we're anticipating seeing The Lizard, Sandman, Mysterio, and possibly even Tom Hardy's Venom depending on how events pan out in the blockbuster.

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero," reads the movie's synopsis. "When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man."

Among the threequel's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx.

As noted, Spider-Man: No Way Home will arrive exclusively in theaters on December 17.
