Sony, please no. Just...please...no. Once Disney recoups the money they spent buying Fox Studios they’ll make a huge offer to Sony worth billions to buy back Spidey film rights and hopefully we can put all this Sony silliness behind us. I think it’s funny how Disney is bring Marvel horror-verse to the big screen with Doctor Strange 2 and the Blade reboot. They basically took a big dump on Sony’s lawn. Bye bye to Sony’s planned horror-verse!! Jared Leto sucked at Joker...throwing money at him to play Morbius is the real joke. So funny how they scrambled to throw cash at Andy Serkis for Venom 2 right after Disney made their horror-verse announcement at Comic-Con. I have zero interest in any live action Spider-Man related content from Sony.

@dennist41

I’m very skeptical that DS2 will be a straight up horror movie but if they pull it off I’ll be very impressed.

This means no Beyoncé jokes.

“So funny how they scrambled to throw cash at Andy Serkis for Venom 2”

Also Venom made like 800 mil. It was always going to get a sequel.

@KingCipher

That would be the real horror. That gif makes me cringe😂

Derrickson can deliver good horror. Sinister was a great flick - creepy af. I just hope they’re not afraid of leaning too heavily into his sensibilities and continue playing off Beyoncé jokes.

@regularmovieguy - I don't know - I don't think he's ever really impressed me.

@tmp3

Ethan Hawke and disturbing home videos where families are mysteriously and brutally murdered??

That movie is eerie! The score is good, too. But I’d agree he’s yet to make something that I really enjoy outside of that.

Doctor Strange might be the only MCU movie I didn’t see in theaters.

@regularmovieguy - Love the Hawke - First Reformed had the best male performance of 2018 - but it felt way too jump scare heavy for me.
