I have a feeling this is all happening with Spider-Man because the MCU is getting ready to not have him in it anymore.

I don't think a new deal will be made. The current one is for a "solo"(SM3 and an ensemble appearance. Manabyte/Jeremy Conrad pointed out that SM3 and DS2 are going to be shooting at the same time. If DS is also in SM3, it wouldn't be too crazy to think that SM will make the jump to DS2. DS2 is gonna be massive in terms of scale that that could be SM's "ensemble appearance". It doesn't necessarily need to be an Avengers film.

I think by the end of DS2, Holland's SM will be sent to the Sony Marvel Universe thus completing the contract and them going their seperate ways.

As for me, am not mad at the monetor part persay, but the fact that Spiderman movie is being highjacked to be a multiverse story, the story teased in FFH was good enough, I want to know how can spiderman deal with backlash after what Mysterio did.

1. I highly doubt we're getting a reality hopping adventure. That seems almost too left field from what they'd been setting up

2. If we do though, that COULD be a very interesting way of growing Peter up: Having him see different lives he could be leading as Spider-Man and forcing him to mature far more than even his current situation would. That's the sort of lesson only Strange could guide him on, because Strange has lived it (in at least 2 different movies)

3. Whatever happens, I would be so jazzed if we got that LAST STAND costume. One of my favorite JRJR looks and also a dope suit to rock in SMPS4

4. Completely forgot how Salvador Larroca gave Peter that WAGON. Never minimize the Spider-Ass
