I liked ASM but wow... What an awful villain. They could've made The Lizard's story so much more personal and sympathetic.

But nah, he was like, "Everyone in NYC must become a lizard because I said so."

Gimme a break. They couldn't even give him a snout and the white labcoat.

@KWilly - Sorry, the first half of ASM is nigh unwatchable for me, we have to sit through the origin story of Peter Parker again, and they're trying so hard to not do what Raimi did, but it just falls flat, they should've just skipped the origin altogether.

@soberchimera - But really, I'd give any number of moneys up to ticket price and snacks if The Batman skips all mention and references to Crime Alley.

@soberchimera - I actually enjoyed the first half of TASM 1 more than the second. Yeah, its Peter's origin but I did enjoy how it tackled Uncle Ben's death and also the mystery of Peter's parents. The second half becomes slightly generic.

@KWilly - Agree on everything you said. I still like Andrew Garfield the best as Spider-Man. But he did suffer from uninteresting villains versus the other two actors who portrayed Spider-Man. If you could merge Andrew Garfield, Sally Field, and Emma Stone with Vulture and Mysterio from the Holland movies, you would have a perfect Spider-Man movie. Just don't make Vulture Gwen's dad as Leary was perfect as George Stacy.

"Newly surfaced"? These came out years ago.

Five...5...FIVE...Live action appearances of Spider Man since ASM and it’s terrible sequel released and we’re getting articles about its concept art...What’s next? Articles from the woman who combed Tobey’s emo cut in SM3? Maybe you can throw that ~NEXT~ button on to each individual picture of every tooth on the comb she used...That’ll get the paid per click numbers up there!

Welp! See y’all over on Screenrant I suppose...

While other sites churn out new content daily, CBM and Josh desperately post mega-old concept art for clicks. Poor devils.
