B.J. Novak reveals... well nothing about THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 in Reddit AMA

B.J. Novak (The Office) just finished conducting a Reddit AMA and while he was asked quite a few questions about his role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, he stayed relatively quiet, only answering one question about what it was like working with Marc Webb.

Staying true to his ironclad non-disclosure agreement, B.J. Novak doesn't reveal anything new about his role as Alistair Smythe in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but he does make a brief comment on what it was like working with Marc Webb.

You can find his full Reddit AMA at the source link below. He answers several questions about his work on The Office and about his new book One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories.

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features:
Director: Marc Webb
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn
Sally Field as May Parker
Campbell Scott as Richard Parker
Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker
Colm Feore as Donald Menken
Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino
Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn
Marton Csokas as Dr.Kafka
B.J. Novak as Alistair Smythe
Martin Sheen as Ben Parker
Chris Zylka as Flash Thompson
Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy
Felicity Jones in an unspecified role

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.

With Vulture and Tinkerer confirmed to appear in Spider-Man Homecoming as the film's primary and secondary antagonists, there is a slight chance that besides having Vincent D'Onofrio make his big screen appearance as the Kingpin, there is a slight chance that Marvel could add at least two more Spider-Man villains to the film since Tinkerer is going to build the tech flight wing gear for Adrien Toomes using the Chitauri's tech - PredatorRIsing
