The clock is ticking, as Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man 2 video game is nearing its window release schedule on the PlayStation 5 console, where Spider-fans/gamers will get the exhilirating opportunity to kick the malicious butt's of Kraven The Hunter, Curt Conners The Lizard, Mysterio, and of course, the extraterrestrail sybiote Venom, as either Miles Morales, or Peter Parker.

By now it is no secret Venom will be a foremost imposing threat to deal with in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - much less that he will be infecting Harry Osborn's body as his host, and Peter Parker for a good portion of the game.

With that, a new Portuguese promo clip from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 shows off the massive size difference between the Spider-Men, and the extraterrestrial parasite amid their hectic destructive battle:

The bigger they are the harder they fall, for Venom will be a worthy adversary to face off against - and defeat, as shown briefly in the promo clip when Miles Morales blasts the symbiote with his shocking bioelectrcity powers.

Are you ready to face off against Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man 2?

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, it features a narrative inspired by the long-running comic book mythology while also deriving from various adaptations in other media. It is the third entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, acting as a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) and a follow-up to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020), with Peter Parker and Miles Morales struggling to navigate the next steps in their personal lives while combatting an assortment of villains.

Among them including a private militia led by mercenary Kraven the Hunter, the monstrous Lizard, and the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote, which bonds itself to Parker and negatively influences him, threatening to destroy his personal relationships.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to release for the PlayStation 5 on October 20, 2023.

It features Yuri Lowenthal As Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Nadji Jeter As Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Laura Bailey As Mary Jane Watson, Jim Pirri As Kraven The Hunter, Graham Phillips As Harry Osborn, Tony Todd As Venom, Mark Rolston As Norman Osborn, Stephen Oyoung As Martin Li, Darin De Paul As J. Jonah Jameson, Jacqueline Pinol As Rio Morales, and Griffin Puatu As Ganke Lee.

@The72nd - Yeah, but this is like giant Venom. Mac Gargan was probably the biggest Venom and he wasn't half this size.

Off topic: I assume this source is bullshit, but big if true.

@Feralwookiee - Nope. It's doing the rounds. Disney is fed up with her based on her going off script during interviews and crapping all over the original Snow White, while also leaning too heavily into all the "woke" stuff. Disney puts the "woke" stuff in their movies, don't get me wrong. And they've made their stance pretty clear on diversity. But they just do it. They don't go out and constantly talk trash like she has been.

Supposedly Iger has also said they are going to stop getting involved in culture war stuff. And what she's been doing and saying kind of goes against that idea. Rumor has it Disney is done with her. She'll still be in Snow White, obviously. But they won't use her for anything else, including anymore Snow White sequels, prequels, or animated stuff. She was also lined up to be in some Disney spy movie that was going to compete with Mission Impossible. She's been fired from all of it and the rumor is the chick from Wednesday is taking her place in everything.

@Feralwookiee - This definitely isn't the only source reporting on this.

@CorndogBurglar - That's pretty wild if true.
Are they gonna totally reshoot the movie then?
They can't just digitally replace her in every scene.

Looking forward to the comments on this trainwreck tomorrow morning. Lol

@Feralwookiee - No, she's still going to be in the Snow White movie because it's already done filming. But any future Disney projects she was a part of, which is supposedly a few, she's been fired from.

@Feralwookiee - At least that's the word on the street that's doing the rounds. But when you keep hearing the same things from several sources it tends to be true. Although we are in weird times for movie news. But I tend to believe this one. I haven't seen an actor or actress get the kind of hate she's getting in a really long time. It's pushing Amber Hurd levels of hate, all because of her interviews.

@CorndogBurglar - I’m not disputing that there’s a 1% chance of this being true, but I just clicked the article and the source is a random on TikTok who has made this claim. The TikTok itself doesn’t even provide a source for where they got this info. So…….putting any stock in this is so much worse than the bullshit rumours this site has been posting recently

Plus, you really think Disney is going to be firing their PoC princess from a finished movie? Because she’s woke and doesn’t like a cartoon? But Johnathan Majors has actual criminal allegations against him and nobody has even hinted at Disney or Marvel that he’s going anywhere?

Don’t get me wrong, there’s no guarantee that Majors is guilty, but if we’re saying Disney (and by extent Marvel) are basing this stuff off perception of their actors, then those two things don’t add up

@Feralwookiee - This has about as much chance of being truth as WB rehiring Snyder to do Justice League 2 tomorrow. As much as some weirdos love to dream of it, nobody’s getting fired for being “woke”.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 9/26/2023, 6:43 AM
@CerealKiller1 - And I'm not disputing it could be fake news. What I'm saying is that site that FeralWookie posted isn't the only source. Sure, the big sites haven't reported it. But that does t make it untrue yet. And there's no denying that she's getting tons of hate for her comments. Having the star of your movie pissing off a bunch of people is never a good thing.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 9/26/2023, 6:46 AM
@PlusUltra - I'm not saying she's fired for being "woke". But what movie studio wants the star of an upcoming movie to talk trash about one of their other movies? Especially one of their biggest classics of all time, that the movie your star is in is a remake of? That's a really bad look lol. Its biting the hand that feeds you.

Not to mention all the backlash she's getting for her interviews. It's perfectly plausible that Disney wouldn't want to work with her again in the future. Will that happen? Maybe, maybe not. But it's not the craziest thing in the world.
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 9/26/2023, 6:51 AM
@CorndogBurglar - The movie studio going out of their way to distance themselves from that movie as much as possible by changing so much about the remake, lol.

Rachel Zegler didn’t make any of these decisions, Disney did. She’s just repeating what’s already been established by Disney.

The type of “backlash” Zegler is getting is insignificant, just like Brie Larson. These incels that spend all their time on these Little Mermaid and Snow White articles, making TikToks about Rachel Zegler and Brie Larson, don’t have a big enough voice to make a difference to anything.
CerealKiller1
CerealKiller1 - 9/26/2023, 7:51 AM
@CorndogBurglar - Sure, but I’m not talking about what sites are reporting on it. I’m talking about the actual source of the info. Which was a TikTok. That doesn’t site it’s own source. There’s taking things with a pinch of salt and then there’s that scenario. Surely you must see how there’s no stock to put in it. And that’s without what you yourself have stated about how ‘the big sites haven’t reported it’

That's big... I'm guessing he isn't that big the whole time based off things like the initial trailer. I don't mind Venom getting that big based on his abilities across media but I hope that's not how he is the whole time.
Also, it will be interesting to see how the Kraven stuff ties into this. Still no clue how it all goes together but I love the villain choices for this.

@hainesy - I don't get it either. Giant Lizard in Spider-Man 3 was weird too and I'm not sure why they opted to make him so massive in this one either.
When I first saw Croc in Arkham Asylum I thought it was kinda cool but he got goofy in Arkham Knight imo.
