David Ayer Confirms A.R.G.U.S. For SUICIDE SQUAD

David Ayer has wrapped Suicide Squad and he apparently doesn't know what to do with all his sudden free time as he's dropped another Twitter scoop. What could A.R.G.U.S.' presence in Suicide Squad mean for Wonder Woman's Steve Trevor (Chris Pine)?

Just hours after debunking Suicide Squad's runtime and disclosing that he's completed post-production work on the film, David Ayer has another Twitter revelation for DCEU fans.  This time, Ayer confirms the existence of A.R.G.U.S. (their emblem can be seen in the photo below) and gives a first look at plans for something called NHEJCO (Non-Human Entity Joint Combat Operations).  A.R.G.U.S., which stands for Advanced Research Group Uniting Super-Humans,  is a creation the DC Comics 2011 reboot, The New 52.  In the comics, it's led by Amanda Waller and Steve Trevor, so perhaps it will be revealed that Chris Pine's Trevor is a founding member of the organization in Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman?

At varied times in DC Comics' past, the Suicide Squad (or Taskforce X) has been deployed by The Agency, Checkmate and CADMUS.  However, it appears that it's the Geoff Johns-created A.R.G.U.S. that will be the covert sub-branch of the US military that assembles Taskforce X in Ayer's film.
