Grant Gustin Crosses Over as “The Flash”

“Worlds Finest” – Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, March 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Grant Gustin crosses over as The Flash.

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

This really is going to be a blast to watch. Two Superheroes, Two Super villains, and a race between two incredibly fast people. Nice, simple, and probably going to go down as my 3rd favorite episode of Supergirl so far

Sneak peak #6 does not work on any browser I have, but what I can see the light side of superheroes looks good!

Many of clips happen in bright day with little cloud cover (notably missing in the latest superman movie). Super Girl seems more than willing to accept a masked vigilante is a good guy (unlike a certain movie version of Superman). Aside from the pesky laws about illegal immigration Super Girl tends to not take the law into her own hands, and is adamant that she does not kill people (at least when discussing the fact someone in the DEO killed Astra). The flash is also tending towards the light side of the genre.

The pair of them are nearly counter programming the latest movie. I wonder how it will play out.

I really like they're not going for the "lets all doubt of the new hero" route. "hey, I'm the Flash, I come from another dimension, I wanna help", boom, simple and to the point.
