It has been confirmed by Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly, that two cast members will die in the season finale of Smallville. One has been a long time Smallville cast member, and the other... not so much.

NOTE! The deaths stick this time, no twists, and fortress of solitude rewind the world thing is going too be happening this time. Once these characters die, they stay dead. One death has been confirmed to be a male character. Hmmmm, I wonder who can it be? Also, it has been said that Doomsday is going to be played by some one else in season 9. The below actors are the targeted cast members. Who do you think it will be?

davis isn't going to die, unless you mean he will be completly taken over by doomsday, then yeah it'll prob be him. And yeah it has to be chloe, she's dodged way too many bullets in her time, i will be sad to see her go because she is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!

Just a thought it could be one of the male justice league members, maybe they took a few liberties as the show is only an adaptation not a representation of the superman universe. i hope that i'm wrong on this point but i just thought i would throw it out there.

In all reality it will probably be Chloe and Davis but wouldn't it be great if they brought back Lana to kill her. I have a poll on my Smallville Fansite for this very topic go check it out and vote.

I know it will be Chloe. In the Legion episode they said they did not know chloe because most likely she died before clark became superman. And I know they said it "might" be a male who dies, but Mercer is the obvious choose of someone who dies. She cannot run lexcorp forever. He has to come back to the show.

Ok, first off lets look back at past seasons. From the time Chloe "died" at the end of season 3 until now, they have always "leaked" that someone is going to die, and that they are going to stay dead. Not saying that it won't happen, but I'll believe it when I see it.

The season finale is going to be titled Doomsday. Killing off Davis would not be much of a shocker.

Supposedly there is a "very big thing" happening, according to Kryptonsite "it's more guest heroes". Maybe one of the Justice League will die.

Personally I hope Chloe is the main character that is offed. While she used to be one of the strong points of the show, her character now seems superfluous.

I also would not be surprised if Clark "dies" at the end of this episode. He is fighting Doomsday after all. Although this would not be one of the deaths the spoiler is talking about, obviously Clark has to come back.

I think it should be Chloe since she was not one of the original characters from the comic and she could be the reason why Clark decides to don the red and blue so no more of his friends get hurt

Well first off Sorry for the shameless plug smallvillechic90z your poll did not show up when I originally posted so I thought you just posted an article but since I already gave my self a shameless plug, Everybody go vote on my poll too. That being said I agree with Smolo. I love Smallville but it could be better so whenever there is a horrible episode I keep watching hoping it will get better.

lol, supermike the only characters under 30 in TDK were Gordons kids so were did the teen drama come from?

Mattlask Smallville can be pretty bad and i hate the teeny bopper elements too, but it can also be pretty entertaining. I just like seeing Superman stories every week, and as much as i dont want Welling as a big screen Supes he is a decent younger version.

The reason they wont kill Jimmy is not because of his standing on the show now, its because of who he becomes later on. Lois and Jimmy are Supermans and Clarkes closest friends through the years.

@Nexus: Oliver Queen is the real green arrow in the comics right now. Connor Hawke (Oliver's son) is still around but he lost his archery prowess.
However I agree Oliver has been a crybaby...although he is pretty whiny in the comics too.

i'm thinking it will be chloe and davis. they can kill the character of davis and still have Doomsday, thats how they'll get around that. i'm a fan of the Chlois theory that says that cloe will eventually become lois. i know this probably won't happen, because they've just F**ked up to much when it comes to running this show, but i can dream. for those not familiar with the chlois theory killing Lois Lane at the end of this season would be a shocker. They haven't done a good job of building her character, your not emotionaly attached like you are with chloe. as someone who has watched from episode one, i think killing chloe would leave clark surrounded by a bunch of "less thens" when it comes to character strength. that all being said, i'm going to Vancouver to camp outside the studio for the last couple of days of shooting for this season. hoping to catch a glimpse of some action. wish me luck.

Killing chloe would build clarks character which is the whole point of the show. i think a few of you may be right when you say that her death will cause him to be more careful with his secret. For those of you who dont like the show, dont post pointless comments about how you hate the show, if you dont like it dont read the article.

As for the green arrow, what are they gonna do give oliver queen a kid with an aging deficiency. Bringing a bastard child would'nt make any sense.........oh wait, that rings a bell.

Again i'm going with clarks mum for the choping board......come on, daddy needs a new pair of shoes.

I Seriously doubt that it is gonna be Clarks mom we would have heard by now that she would be coming back to do a guest spot. And it's totally worthless to kill a character if they never appear on the show. There is no point. isn't that right Mr.Klown.
