VIDEO GAMES: Screenshots And Details For MAN OF STEEL Online Game "Metropolis Mayhem"

It may not be getting a video game tie-in on consoles like the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, but today sees the launch of "Metropolis Mayhem"; a 2D online game from Warner Bros. which allows players to take control of Superman above the skies of Metropolis. Check it out!

Thanks to Hero Complex, we have a first look and details for Warner Bros.' Man of Steel online video game tie-in, "Metropolis Mayhem". According to the site, it launches today at and can in fact be found there right now. As they point out, "The 2-D game allows players to fly Superman through Metropolis, using their keyboard to maneuver the Man of Steel around obstacles and destroy objects with heat-vision. Players must collect Superman logos to increase their score while dodging floating laser beams, plasma weapons from dropships and guided rockets shot from helicopters. Get hit five times, and Supes is a goner." It even features a new sampling of Hans Zimmer's movie soundtrack!

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination.
