As promised, Warner Bros. has delivered the new trailer for DC’s
Teen Titans GO! To The Movies, providing us with some context for the upcoming animated film.
The trailer continues to poke fun at the DC Universe, as Robin - Batman’s faithful sidekick - attempts to get his very own movie made. And why not? Just about all of DC’s other heroes are - even Green Lantern. As Superman reveals though, Robin and the Titans don’t actually do anything heroic, so they set off to find an arch-nemesis. Enter
Deadpool Deathstroke who wraps the entire world - including DC’s biggest heroes - under his control. It’s up to this ragtag group of sidekicks to stop him.

Teen Titans GO! To The Movies offers a satirical take on the super hero genre and the trailer definitely showcases the kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek nature of the movie.
It seems to the Teens that all the major super heroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously Super-Villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!
